Salary- €90-100k plus package

Reporting into a Director, as a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be involved and oversee 3 to 4 projects at a time and will have a junior Quantity Surveying reporting into you.
Role responsibilities include:
- Coordinate with project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure projects are delivered within budget and on time.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, considering materials, labour, equipment, and other relevant factors.
- Conduct comprehensive quantity takeoffs and measurements from architectural and engineering drawings to determine the quantities of materials required for construction projects.
- Manage the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, and negotiating contracts. Administer contracts and subcontracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and managing variations and claims.
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase, tracking expenditure, assessing variations, and managing change orders. Prepare accurate financial reports, including monthly cost value reconciliations, cost forecasts, and final accounts.
- Identify value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs without compromising quality or functionality. Propose cost-saving alternatives and evaluate their feasibility, considering factors such as life-cycle costs, sustainability, and long-term benefits.
Role requirements:
- Relevant 3rd level Qualification
- 6+ years' relevant experience
- Excellent written, verbal & communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
